What Is Heaven Like? by Beverly Lewis

I think "Wow!" about sums up my review of this book. Beverly Lewis has addressed an age-old question just about every youngster who has heard of heaven has asked.

The story is based on a little boy who misses his grandpa, who is now in heaven. He asks his sister and some of the adults in his life "What Is Heaven Like?" and all of them have very interesting answers. Along with sharing thoughts about the title question, the main character of this story also seeks and finds the general answer to how a person gets to heaven.

I love how Beverly includes related scripture at the bottom of every worded page. Another wonderful and important quality of What is Heaven Like?, is the remarkable, colourful illustrations by Pamela Querin. It is sure to catch the eye and attention of any youngster. I think this book would be a great addition to any pre-school through elementary school child's library.
