I was really excited when I received The Word Becomes Flesh to review for our ezine. If you are busy running here and there, which I often am, this set of 18 CD's is a wonderful supplement to your hardbound Bible(s). It allows even more immersion of God's Word into your heart and mind.
There are 39 women who beautifully read the New Century Version of the New Testament, such as Stormie Omartian, Amy Grant and Denalyn Lucado. In the background, throughout the entire collection, is originally scored music that makes listening even more enjoyable. As a bonus, real testimonies are shared by women whose lives have been changed by God and His Word through Mercy Ministries, an outreach organization that is receiving contributions with the sale of every copy of The Word Becomes Flesh.
I find myself listening to the CD's every chance I have and the rest of my family enjoys listening right along with me. I can take them anywhere because they come in a cool, compact and striped carry along case.
