Straightalk has 18 short stories/devotionals for teenagers with verses and a prayer included. Some chapters are what you would expect; covering growing pains concerning sex, modesty, peer pressure, etc. Quite a few chapters deal with issues surrounding a parent's divorce and blended families, so I especially recommend this as a gift for teenagers in that situation. For teens who's birth families are still together, those specific chapters can give them insight in to the world of a growing majority of their classmates. Blended families are projected to make up the majority of families any year now, and that may be the case already.
