Sophie and Sam, by author Tori Cloud, is a wonderfully illustrated and written childrens' book. It is based on the book Boundaries, which was written by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. Sophie and Sam is ten chapters long, with each chapter telling a different story to demonstrate principles about living the way God wants us to live. At the end of every chapter is supporting scripture to share with your child.
The ten chapters consist of Say Yes To Telling the Truth, Say Yes to Sharing, Say No to Whining, Say Yes to Respect, Say Yes to Clean-Up, Say No to Meanies, Say Yes to Following the Rules, Say Yes to Manners, Say No to Arguing, and Say Yes to Thanking God.
Sophie and Sam is an entertaining way to reinforce what you try to teach your child as he or she grows.
