Return to Peace - CD

"Return to Peace" is the newest album by composer/instrumentalist Mark Dunn. For "Return to Peace" Mark draws style and an Irish pennywhistle from his celtic heritage. Hence its subtitle, "A Celtic Journey through Central America." The later part referring to his tour of Latin America which brought him inspiration as he created the music on this CD. All his influences on this album blend together breathtakingly.
"Return to Peace" is a meeting of many styles of music, instruments and artists. Celtic, subtly jazzy tunes backed by local artists such as Peter Nitsche of the Costa Rican Symphony. Some songs even have the sounds of the rainforest in the background, sometimes starting a piece off, giving rise to the beautiful music to follow.
Dunn is currently working on his 3rd album, of Brazilian jazz. It is currently in the final stage of production.
