If you're looking for a devotional book for a teenager near and dear to you, If God Loves Me is a great pick.
The 365 devotionals are usually one page long, using true to life stories, with a third of each devotional being verses taken directly from the Bible.
The best part is that in no way do they appear to be stand alone material for spiritual growth. An underlying theme in these devotionals is that teens should pick up their Bibles and dig deep into God's Word, and lay God's Word down in their hearts for a solid foundation in life. For that, Ms. Peterson did a superb job on this book!
