God's Words from A to Z

I was sent a review copy of God's Words from A to Z, a CD of bible verses (one per letter of the alphabet as you may have guessed) that have each verse set to a unique tune. A variety of musical influences are tapped on this CD, from contemporary to middle eastern sounds. After all the verses are done on individual tracks, there is a 27:57 compilation of all of them.
This is a fun way to memorize scripture, especially if you learn best through hearing. If you think about it, most of us probably know more lyrics than scriptures, don't you think? That is hard to acknowledge. Maybe this can help the lyrically inclined to set that straight. Musically talented families may want to weave this idea into their devotional lives permanently, setting all of their scripture memorization verses to music.
