God's Little Messengers

Reviewed by Amy B

In her book, God's Little Messengers, Esther Bailey has taken 42 stories derived from various things children have said or done to write short, inspiring devotionals. After each of the "out of mouths of babes"-inspired stories Mrs. Bailey applies the topic at hand to her own life. She ends each devotional with prayer. Subjects such as faith, love, evangelism, discernment, among many others, are included. Each devotion is easy to read and the stories about the children are delightful.

Taking time out to read God's Little Messengers was a refreshing break during my busy, hectic day. The real life situations, especially concerning the kids, make each chapter enjoyable to read. The prayers are great too, especially for a newer Christian who might be unsure about how to pray.
