Dressed for Battle: Guide to a Christ-Centered Life of Victory by Lisa Leighton
Reviewed by Rachel
Dressed for Battle is a children's book about the armour of God; as in Ephesians ch. 6's Put on the whole armour of God. I received an electronic version, so my comments only relate to the writing. What I appreciated about Dressed for Battle is the focus on God's Word being important in a young Christian's life. I can attest that being in the Word at a young age greatly influenced me for the better. Even in times of rebellion, God was always pulling me back to Him, and that is in (great) part credited to having His Word in my heart. There are limitless creative ideas from various sources, tools as crafts, associated with the Ephesians verses about the armour of God. Dressed for Battle is a good tool for both lesson work, and as an addition to your home library for continually relaying the message.
