Comes A Horseman by Robert Liparulo

"Comes A Horseman" definitely keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Two FBI agents, Alicia and Brady, find themselves thrown into a nightmarish situation. Brady is a profiler, who is still struggling with the death of his wife and being a single parent. Alicia is the brains and tester behind a great new system called CSD, which helps obtain crime scene evidence.

With what seems likely to be a new serial killer on a rampage, Alicia rushes to the newest murder scene to obtain all the information she can before any other investigators. After her partner Brady arrive, they are both unwittingly thrown into a world they didn't know much, if anything, about. They find themselves matched up against a force of evil that has loomed over and corrupted mankind since the fall of Adam.

I don't particularly care for gore. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this book in spite of the parts of the storyline that contained it. Considering the subject matter, I don't think Robert Liparulo could have done as great a job he has without it. It is definitely a thriller!
