Have you been wondering when and how to approach the topic of sexuality with your child? This book contains a lot of useful information to help both you and your child get through the sometimes difficult years just prior to puberty and beyond. There are great ideas about what to say and do to teach your child to live his or her life as God expects, and the consequences of not doing what is expected.
Although there were a few things in this book I didn't entirely agree with, there are more than enough great suggestions. I think the most helpful to me was how to encourage your child to wait until marriage without using the word abstinence, which more often than not, has a negative connotation. There is a summary at the end of every chapter and scripture references are given throughout the book.
If you think you need to have the talk with your child, but have questions, Because We Love Them just might have the answers you need.
