All you BTDT moms--did any of you feel all clingy and lovey-dovey toward your DH the last few weeks of any of your pregnancies?
Yesterday I must have burst into tears 5 times throughout the day, missing him so much and having such tender thoughts of him (and he was only gone from 9am to 6pm). I thought I was back to "normal" today, but just a few minutes ago I sent him a copy of a love song to express my feelings, and tears started streaming down my face. Ah, the wonder of pregnancy hormones! |

I am ususally all clingy and wanting Dh to be around all the time pretty much my whole pg. It was worse with DD, but I am getting more and more like that with this baby. I think the weirdest thing during pg for me was that I didn't want to drive anymore...who knows if it was because I wanted a reason for Dh to be there all the time, or I just didn't want to drive.....it's coming back with this pg too...not as strong, but it's there!!
I think it's sweet how you are feeling so tender towards your hubby. Maybe your mind is figuring out that soon it won't be just the two of you, and you are enjoying the last few days as just man and wife. A baby does change things, but so far for us, it's been sooooooo good!!! Amber

Chandra--I just have a few light BHs here and there. My mw says the baby's not quite ready to come out, but the way s/he squirms around sometimes I wonder if s/he is trying to anyway!

My best friend is due Nov.19th. I just talked to her today and she said she has been a total wreck emotionally, for the last couple of weeks. The further along she gets the worse it gets. So I don't think you are alone. Other women deal with this too, so don't feel bad for it.

I told my mw about the phenomenon yesterday, and she wrote down on my chart, "Experiencing spousal attachment." |
