Since Emme started public school (Doing extra curricular at school and accidemics at home didn't work so well and since she had a taste of school she wanted to go there rather than stay home so I'm not exclusively homeschooling=( She goes 1/2 day and we do stuff together in the afternoon). . .She's been wetting the bed frequently. Like before she would have an accident maybe once every 2 weeks now it's every couple of days. This week I threated taking away bible club if she wet again and now she's under the threat of loosing an over night at nanny's house. I hate to be threatening but, it seems to be the only thing working because I know she CAN hold it. Anyone else have this experience and have some ideas? -ren

hmmm not quite sure what to say exccept maybe with her new routine she may just be overtierd and find it hard to get up and go. Has she been drinking more during the day? I don't know?
Routine changes in my house can lead to different things happening or habits occuring that haven't happened in a while, I usually just work through them and quickly they seem to disappear! I hope things go better soon!

Ren I left a friend message. Please, please don't take this the wrong way, could there just be too much going on. That Em has too many things she is doing?
I'm saying that because I was in that situation with my first 2 children trying to do "it all" Church, sunday school, regular school, swim lessons, karate and it was just too much for all of us when I just was trying to do it right. Once I scaled back, and just started doing nothing together but having some picnics and playing toys and watching a movie together things went more smoothly. Again Ren please I am not saying anything is wrong with your schedule or routine just saying sometimes one needs to look at the whole picture. Please don't take this the wrong way, I love ya girl and want what's best for you and your family always. hugs

I have two boys that are bed wetting still at the ages of 5 & 7.Noah my7 yr old just went though a week without a his pull-up on.
He did ok for a few nights as I got him up to go to the toilet. I just put him back in pull-ups as he is not ready. Personally I would not get angry with my child as I know he does not do this on purpose. He would be really hurt and probably make bit worse for him if I did. I think every child develops differently just be patient with her and help her though this stage even if it takes a bit longer. That’s what I do with my bed wetters. cheers Andrea |

thanks all- renee, you cutey! I know you'd just be giving caring advice no matter what! I've thought about that but, I think we're really low key. It's just school and homeschooling when I can bible club wed nights and church on sunday is really it other than the schooling. I think it must just be the schedule change. We did realize that we have to cut drinks off earlier because she's going to bed earlier. Good thought that she just might be tired enough to not want to get up in the morning. hmmm, well, we'll see how it goes. -ren

my 2 youngest still use pull ups at night, ages 5 1/2 and almost 4. I am not worried. the doc also told us is not always how much they drink before bed but also how sound of a sleeper they are. mine sleep like logs.
