Default whimpering in her sleep

Angela is whimpering(like a puppy) in her sleep.Oh yeah the puppy whimpers in his sleep too, thats a whole nuther problem.. .There's no door between our rooms yet and I'm a light sleeper... anyone? The whimpering usually means she needs to go to the restroom or is having a bad dream..usually the restroom..but she whimpers a loooooooong time before she'll wake up and go...I have to get out of my cozy bed and go into her room (usually tripping over hubby's shoes) to wake her up and make her to go to the restroom..

This has just started up in the past 2wks so I imagine its her body outgrowing her bladder (hopefully very temporarily) ..She never wets the bed but she'll whine herself awake each time.. [whatheadagainstthewall]

Any suggestions? I need to

not sure about the whimpering thing...but had a friend with a little boy who was having a rough time waking and not wetting, his doc had his Mom set the alarm for like every 2 or 3 hours for awhile and and get them used to waking up and going....they did this for about 5 months and then were fine....good luck!

I am assuming you mean tips to NOT hear the whimpering, right? I am not a light sleeper, but when one of them wakes me it takes me a long time to go back to sleep, so I can understand the dilemma a bit. I use those little foam ear plugs sometimes...not as much since hubby got one of those snoring machines (Thank You Jesus!!!) but if I am having trouble sleeping and need some quiet.

Now they don't totally block out noise, just brings it down a bit. In case you are worried about not hearing at all. They can feel a little wierd but hey, sometimes ya gotta take crazy measures.

And, for the "door" I have several doors that have curtain rods across them and curtains. Some of them are even double hung, for more privacy. They are very chic and upscale looking, so it looks fairly trendy. I do it b'coz I have clients come in, and I need some privacy in some areas (see hiding clutter). That may help cut down on the noise for ya too.
