Default Bed Times

What time do your kids go to bed during the school year? We are trying to figure out when to put our 4th grader to bed, 7:30 seems to early. They don't have to be up unil 6:30 in the morning to start getting ready for school.

this year all of my kids will be going to school. the two youngest are 3 1/2 and 5 they go to bed at 7:30 and get up about 7 ish the next morn. my oldest is 8 and her bed time is 8 and she is allowed to read until 8:20 but i have to drag her out of bed the next morning, so we may have to adjust that.

My little one is three but she has to wake up at 6:30 for preschool and I usually put her down around 7:30 but she doesn't fall asleep until 8.

We usually start bedtime around 7.30pm and have them in and lights out by 8pm. We try to keep this routine through the summer too as it makes life easier for everyone and both my boys are usually ready for bed by then anyway Also oldest ds does so much better when his routine stays the same! They both wake up anywhere between 6.30am - 7.30 ish!
My oldest was in preschool this past year but will be going into Kindergarten in the fall! We may move bedtime earlier for him depending on he is doing as he will be going 5 days a week.

Our boys go to bed at 9 p.m., we wish dd would go to bed then too but she won't usually conk out until 9:30ish. boys are awake around 7:00 and allowed to get up at 7:30 a.m. Same bedtime during school year but have to get up at 6:45 a.m. DD is up between 7:00-7:40 a.m. sometimes earlier, still working on her bedtime routine.

Ours are in bed by 9pm. DS is 3.25 and still takes quite a long nap (2+ hours) in the afternoon. He's up around 7:30 or earlier. DD naps on and off all day of course!
