Default I just want to eat pickles all the time! *snork*

Um, yeah, I'm so the stereotypical pregnant women. Oh, speaking of which, just ran out of pickles in my bowl, let me run back to the fridge.....okay back now.

I ate 2 quarts, yes QUARTS of pickles in two days and now I'm marinating cucumbers in the leftover broth, as I simply can't afford to continue buying a quart of actual pickles a day. LOL. I told my friend how many I ate and she said, "So you want any ice cream with that?" ROFL.

I never craved pickles like this with Hannah, what's going on here? Is there something in the pickles that my body needs?

I practically lived on pickles alone the first trimester of pg #3. I was so sick with him. My first real experience with the nausea. All of a sudden I wanted pickles. So I tried. It worked. It was the only thing I could stand to eat and that actually eased the nausea.

I think it's the acid/vinegar in there that neutralizes the acid in the stomach, helping to relieve nausea. And, like anything else, your body knows what it needs and tells you by giving you cravings. Other than that..the nausea settler...I don't know what's in there your body would be desperately needing at this time.

Funny though isn't it?
The stereotypical pickles during pregnancy hehe

Yum! I love pickles. You could try getting a super big jar. Maybe save money that way, although gotta say the cucumbers in pickle juice ain't a bad idea.

Nope, not at all. I used to do this before I started canning my own. Very tasty! Although you can only really re-use the pickle juice 1-2 times before the vinegar loses its strength.

My pickles were vinegar free, so it'll be interesting to see how long the solution lasts. (It's a lemon and dill juice)
