.....It got off to a rough start last week though. Charlotte wasn't feeling well at all on Thursday, then Friday a.m. it was plain what the problem was - ear infection and perforated ear drum. So I got her off the pedi's office and got that taken care of, but we ended up missing Good Friday services. Fortunately we were able to make it to Easter services (on Saturday night; it's odd doing that, but that's when we normally go to church.) I served at church on Sunday morning, then cooked a ham dinner for the family, plus my Dad and Candace.
Monday the kids and I were off to the library and then went to see the movie, "Horton Hears A Who". Today it's get-the-laundry-done day, and tomorrow Eric has his belated wellness appointment in the a.m., then we have a playdate at McDonald's (would it be OK for me to eat a nutrition bar there and just order a drink so I don't have to eat their food?) Thursday we're going to a museum, Friday we'll take the Metra train down a ways and get off at the downtown area of a city along the way and get lunch and ice cream (then take the train back......like a 25 minute ride each way.) We're not officially going anywhere this year for break, but I wanted to do some fun things with the kids rather than referee all week long. |

Sounds like you have fun things planned for your kids this week. Are you close to Chicago? I love that city, that is where I met my dh! Anyway, I have been on the metra train and it is just wonderful!
My ds is off preschool this week too for Spring break, we haven't really anything planned. I have been to the park a couiple of times and mainly been around home. It has been a little cold and I am also recovering from a cold so I haven't had too much energy for anything else! Anyway have fun
