Suddenly over the past 2 days all my bras are really hurting my ribcage. I only wear underwire, so I'm assuming that's the cause - but why so sudden? The pain is in the same place on both sides, not directly under the girls but about 2 inches toward my arms.
I was already eyeing a new style of bra at Motherhood Maternity, so I popped in and bought one in my size. It's a nursing bra with no underwire and a small amount of padding so my nipplies don't show through! Hopefully this will do the trick - any thoughts on why the sudden pain?

It is normal for your ribcage to expand towards the end of pregnancy as the baby grows and pushes it out, and you gain weight, and also for bras to fit tighter as your body prepares to make milk for the baby...
I had the same problem with my first. |
