"Official" Due Date

Not sure if I believe in due dates but mine is now set for May 4. I had an ultrasound today and the baby is really active. I already have a belly but I lost weight...strange!!!!

due ish...I like that! my dates are really messed up, too bc I think conception was around aug 4. who knows!!! it's in God's hands! ds was a week early and came roaring in at 7lbs2oz I wouldn't have wanted any bigger!!!

I've got plenty of belly too and I've lost about 6 lbs! LOL Congrats, try not to pay too much attention to that due date though.

FWIW, I learned in nursing school that due dates are calculated based on the average woman's menstrual cycle length - so if you tend to go longer than the 28 day average cycle, your baby may take a little longer "in the oven" and if you tend to go shorter, the opposite is true. I think that's how it was anyway. due dates are for the birds though! they mess with your mind and I was SOOO disappointed to reach my due date and... no baby!

Yeah, I never "planned on" a baby on my due date. Good thing, DD was a week late! I really enjoy pregnancy though, and am sure Noah would have popped out late if they let him!

You new pgers are due close to Noah's bday...I love that life goes on...the cycle continues, God is so good!
