Default Fighting.... ARGH!

Does anyone have any tips for a 5 and a 2 year old fighting constantly? I'm tired of sending them to thier room. There has to be a better way. And I'm not sure that tying them together is age appropriate as the 5 year old is sure to drag the 2 year old around - and I doubt he'd get the point.
I know a mom with two teenage daughters - she handcuffed them together for 3 days!!!! LOL. They had to do everything together - shower, go to the bathroom, talk on the phone with friends... etc... lol. They shaped up after that.

The handcuff idea is great. I wish I had thought of that when my sdds were teenagers!
