Default Milestones and Sleep

Ok, so here I go with another nap question. Has anyone seemed to experience their baby's naps or daytime sleep being disrupted right before they reach a developmental milestone, like right before they crawl? I read in a book someone saying that it seemed that their kids did this, and I'm watching my 8 mo daughter, thinking it might be true. She is right on the verge of crawling (she can pull herself along like a madwoman!), and today her first naps weren't good. Not sure on the times lining up, but seems like she could have had messed up naps around the time she started sitting. It's interesting to think that their little minds and bodies may be able to sense that they can almost do this new thing. Wondering...

I have not noticed this particular thing, but I have noticed that when Justice sleeps more it is followed by growth, which makes since because they grow while they are sleeping.

I don't know. Lately dd has not been going to sleep well. I figure it's because she's teething but,... maybe she is getting ready to stand and walk alone? We'll see.
