Today was amazing... and exhausting... but still amazing!!!

I cleaned for the morning, went to a Mother's Day tea at my son's school after lunch, babysat 2 kids after school, had a visit from the sweet young neighbor girl (married a year), made supper, and had 22 people over for supper. That's actually not a typo, we did have 22 people here for supper. And I survived. And I'm beyond exhausted now but it was so much fun!!!

I just felt sorta amazing to have that many people over at almost 8 months preggo but in all honesty I don't want to do it again. Our house really isn't that big! lol

So thankful for the friend that brought lunch, and the neighbor friend that brought a casserole and the great old friends that brought part of the supper... This is the first food that anyone's brought over yet and I'm just really really thankful for all of it!

And now I'm going to bed...should sleep well!!!

Are you sure this is Margi? It sounds like Wonder Woman. What a profitable day! But maybe you can take a Mother's Day rest today.

Turns out that wasn't such a great idea... I spent the night thinking I was in labour, not very restful!! Those were *painful* BH! Took it a bit easier today but still got lots done... cleaned up outside and boys mowed lawn... I hauled away recycling and trash, got ALL the laundry done (as DONE as it ever gets! lol) and even cleaned up a few corners...

You are amazing, Margi! I'm sorry it resulted in a restless night... I was going to ask how you felt this weekend. Sunshine is a good motivator though. I know it has been helpful getting me to get things done lately after all the rain we've had!
