I didn't POAS this morning - I had no sticks! And I kinda don't want to waste yet another one. I've still got some breast tenderness and more cramping last night, and my nose seems to have joined in now too. There was a fruit tray at a meeting I was at last night that I thought smelled horrible! There was also a baby there so I thought maybe her diaper just needed changing, but when I ate a strawberry it tasted off to me. No one else seemed to be able to smell it or thought the fruit was bad! Ahh... Hormones. How much fun are they?? Lol

I haven't had any spotting yet. If AF hasn't shown up in 10 days I'll probably POAS then. Probably. Lol

10 days?? Girl, don't you know you can get like 100 tests for super cheap online? They work well too.....I used them for this pregnancy and for when I got preggo with Mak. Then you would have NO excuse to make us wait......just saying!
I pray these next 10 days go quickly for you and that you feel the Lord's grace upon you at every moment!!

I was reading some of the Guinness world records with Em today, and one was a lady who got pregnant naturally at 59, she actually ovulated AFTER her AF stopped completely. I read that and though....now that was the Lord opening that womb!! He's done it before we know.........just thought I would share.

Blessings dear one!
Amber

Lol!! I thought of you as I posted that today... I knew I'd be disappointing you!

I'm gonna pick some tests up at Dollarama tomorrow. That way I don't run out again. I was just gonna be an hour away from the closest Dollarama today, so I knew I wouldn't be able to get any.

I'm not really feeling anything any more... My boobs aren't as sore, I'm still having some creamy cm, my sense of smell/taste seems fine today... I guess I *could* be pregnant, but I certainly don't feel it! Plus, I'm craving chocolate - a sure sign of AF coming.

I'll keep praising God, no matter what happens this cycle!

Ha! Not disappointed, I understand! With all those wonky cycles, it's wise to wait.

Remember, that many of us, when we were actually preggo didn't have many if at all symptoms at first. I got bummed a few times because I wasn't "feeling" pregnant like I did when I wasn't, and those were the times I were. Now, my breasts don't get very sore during AF or pregnancy, and I know for some women that can be their first sign, but everyone is different. KWIM?

I thank the Lord for your faith and willingness to praise Him through the good times AND the storms!

Blessings,
Amber

Thank you for all the encouragement, girls! You're such a blessing to me!

I think I'm out, however. I had a little spotting this morning and it's gotten heavier throughout the day... If AF does show up tomorrow, at least she'll be here closer to her usual date! The last 2 months I've gone 37 and 38 days. This will be 34, and I'm usually 33. I guess that means my stress levels are coming down! Yay!

My boobs are sore again, but not like before, and I don't really have any other symptoms. I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.

It's official: AF is here. But I'm fine. I've had a few days to warm up to the idea, and it came on so gradually, which is nice too.

Ah well, I guess dh will have to keep taking those vitamins! On to the next cycle! Anyone know of anything else we might try? I was thinking of accupuncture...

I'm planning to make dh a sweet and salty trail mix of something like:
Pumpkin and sunflower seeds, Brazil Nuts, almonds, peanuts, dried apple, dried blueberry and possibly other dried berries, dried mango, lightly salted sundried tomatoes, evo if I roast nuts and seeds (would soaking nuts and seeds in green tea boost antioxidants?)

All supposedly fertility boosting. If he likes it, I am hoping he'll snack on it multiple times per week. Hoping to get more fresh blueberries (heard a career donor touting blueberries..) and leafy greens into him too -- salad every day this summer, maybe. The blueberries will be the hardest to incorporate into his diet. It's annoying, that I could eat a cup of blueberries (pref frozen!) every day and not tire of it. He rarely touches them. I'm not sure he's even touched the bag.

These are on my short list of things to look into more:
N-ACETYL CYSTEINE?
COENZYME Q10
Asian ginseng, standardized extract
L-carnitine, acetyl-L-carnitine or propionyl-L-carnitine
astragalus extract?
liquid black cohosh?
DHEA for testosterone? Horny Goat Weed? lol *blush*
Royal jelly?

I'm praising the Lord that you are doing well with AF this cycle, that has to be from the Lord! It's hard, but we can praise Him that He didn't open your cycle just for your will, that His will is still being done...KWIM? That was my biggest hope!!

Is Dh against trying an IUI? Is that why you are going with slower more natural things? I remember you talking about somethings, but my memory is so bad. I think the acupuncture would be helpful for dh, because you know the "issue" is mostly with him? I'm sure it could strengthen your cycle though. If nothing it might help relax you!! I'm sure we could all use that!!

I pray this AF isn't too bad and that your next cycle is fruitful!!

Blessings,
Amber

Wow Rachel, you have done some serious supplement searches, I pray you find these things fruitful!

Amber - dh is pretty much against medical intervention in general, so vitamins and supplements are about as much as I changer him to consider right now. And even then, he's got a sensitive stomach! (or maybe that's a whiny man thing lol)

In any case, I had a little break down this aft and cried my eyes out web I heard a friend of ours had had her 4th child a couple of wks ago because it's so easy for some people to get pregnant, but I want to be patient and wait on God's timing but it's so hard and I don't understand why, and... You get the picture.

Fortunately dh had the right words for me and kept hugging me all afternoon, so I felt better pretty quickly. Now, I'm just dealing with the physical effects of AF more than the emotional. I hate cramps! Lol

I'm gonna keep praying my way through this. What a great idea on the snack mix Rach! I may just try to make some myself!
