Default Pregnancy After Miscarriage....

We just found out we're prego again! Only about 5 weeks along, due New Years Day! I'm so nervous though because I miscarried my 2nd baby this past fall at 12 weeks, no explanation.....
Good tips or Bible passages for those first trimester fears after losing one baby through miscarriage? Did people have success with their next pregnancy?
Thanks for the input! I can use all the prayer showers I can get right now for this new little one and myself!
Bree

Congrats Bree! That is wonderful news. I got pregnant with my ds 6 months after my miscarriage. When I was 8 weeks along with my ds I started spotting. I feared I would lose him as well. I went to the Dr. and I had a pocket of blood left over from my miscarriage and my growing fetus was pushing the blood out. I had a normal, wonderful pregnancy with no complications.

There is hope after a miscarriage and God will take care of you!!

Default hi

My MIL had two miscarriages and then went on to have two healthy pregnancies and two healthy babies (and one of them was my husband yay)

I used to work in a medical lab and a lot of the time there are no explainations as to why people miscarry, however they would have informed you for sure if there was any condition you may have that would have caused it or any uterine anomolies etc etc or foetal anomolies that were present...

I understand your fears perfectly however - my daughter was in constant danger throughtout my pregnancy and thankfully we never lost her, but I am pregnant now also and do have flash backs and fears to that time for sure.

thank you guys so much for all the words of encouragement and the verses! I am trying to live by the verse that says that God has not given us a spirit of timidity an fear, but of peace and courage....(I don't even know the reference...just remember memorizing parts of it as a kid! LOL)
God bless! This group is such a blessing to have!

Bree, Congrats!! and I know how you're feeling. I've lost two within the last year, and now I'm pregnant again. I'm almost 11 weeks and I'm further than I have ever been. (One I lost at 8 1/2 weeks the other at 6 weeks). So far my salvation is I've been sick as a dog. (Which I wasn't with the other two.) Now, my m/s is starting to go away so I worry more but I know I have to just trust God and tell myself He knows what He's doing. It's easier said than done though. I knew as long as I was sick, I was okay. I know that's strange.
I will definitely keep you in my prayers.

I have had two miscarrages........

I had a set of twin girls and about 16 months later I was pregnant again but lost it and had to have a DNC and about 4 months later the samr thing happened again and had to have another DNC.

When I got pregnant with my middle child and the 4th pregnance, I was scared to death I would lose him but all went well. And two years later had another boy.

Your fear is normal and to be exspected.

I will keep you in my prayers.

Default pregnancy after miscarriage

Congrats Bree on your pregnancy. I too miscarried my 2nd pregnancy at 12 weeks for no apparent reason. I went on to have 2 more children after that. Hope that gives you some hope and encouragment. The passage that helps me is "God has a plan and purpose for us, one for good not evil." It's natural to be nervous but leave it in God's hands and His peace will surround you. I'm praying for you
Lisa
