Nap question

At what age did your kids drop their morning nap? Sawyer seems about ready (I'm not though!) and I remember Nick did around a year but Blake did way longer... Nick also quit naps altogether by age 3 but Blake had 2-3 hour naps until at least 4! I guess kids are different... I just want Sawyer to stay a baby for longer - he turns 1 in only 9 days!!!!

I hear you on the keeping them babies, Dawson is 1 at the end of the month already, where did the time go?

About the napping, Payton quit napping altogether before he was even one. That was tough. Dawson integrated to one 2 hourish nap at about 6 months old and that is still his norm.

All babies are different, thats for certain!

About 1 1/2 stopped morning naps. Otherwise, it would interfere with their afternoon nap. Mine usually still take an afternoon nap until 4 to 5 years old.

I think it has alot to do with when y'all go to bed and y'all get up too on why nap differences from each household, mine go to bed by 8am and get up at 7am, my 3yr old stopping taking naps all together at 2.5yrs old and my just turned 18mos old takes one 2hr nap around noon and done this since he was about 8mos old, so he was 8mos old when he starting taking just 1 nap (pretty much all my boys were the same on their napping schedule)
