OH BOY!!!
I just went to the restoom (literally 10 minutes ago) and there was a TON of fertile CM! Fortunately I get off work in about a half hour, DH is almost home from work, and I live 10 minutes away. I just called him and told him so he will get home and put on a movie for the kids so we can sneak off to our bedroom.....EEEKKK! I am really praying that this is the one! Also, I don't have a chart but here is a list of my temps. I was hoping an experienced person (ahem, Ruth) would be able to make sense of something. I didn't start temping until Day 8 because I bought my thermometer the night before. Day 8 - 95.75 Day 9 - 96.24 Day 10 - 97.21 Day 11 - 97.26 Day 12 - 96.71 Day 13 - 96.58 Day 14 - 96.84 Day 15 - 96.75 Day 16 - 96.71 Day 17 - 96.99 Day 18 - 96.48 Day 19 - 96.29 Day 20 - 96.14 Day 21 - 96.15 Day 22 - 96.68 Day 23 - 96.90 Day 24 - 96.97 Day 25 - 97.31 Day 26 - 97.01 Day 27 - 96.64 Day 28 - 96.66 Thoughts???? Help???? Sara

Going off of the temps, you definitely haven't ovulated yet. There is another thing that I noticed about your temps, though. Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Low basal body temperatures can indicate low thyroid function, which can hinder fertility.
It may not be low enough to create a disease or to get on meds for, but it could certainly affect your cycles. Nutritional strategies can help boost thyroid function. My favorite book for fertility and nutrition is Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition by Marilyn Shannon. Have you had any build up of CM before today, or is this the start of it? It certainly sounds promising.

That's where my temps sit too, Ruth. Funny huh? I thought 96's were low too! I had my thyroid checked several times and it was always fine... weird! I sure am excited for you, Sara!! The next couple of weeks need to hurry and go by so we'll know if you're BDing is successful!

Okay, so I was sort of freaked when I read Ruth's post so I took my temp just to see and my basal thermometer says 96.54. I grabbed the kids braun ear thermometer and it said 97.2. I remember reading about vaginal temping so I tried that and it was 97.24 on the basal. Now I am just super confused as it seems that my oral temps are funky. At least it appears that my temps are more normal than originally thought. Ha!

Vaginal temps are normally higher than oral temps, don't worry, that's normal.

Question...just because I don't really know the exact order of things. My fertile CM is getting even more abundant and super stretchy over the past two and a half days but my temp hasn't spiked. Is this normal or should I have the spike before the fertile CM???
Thanks! Sara
