Default CM This Month

I had some non-egg white but abundant CM this month right around what *would be* mid-cycle. I can't possssssibly be gearing up to cycle could I? I mean, Wyatt's only coming up on two months for crying out loud. I typically get AF around 3 months PP, but I don't typically have any kind of cervical fluid... I'm usually dry. I thought *maybe* it could just be a kind of leftover from giving birth?? I'm clueless.

If you're under 2 months postpartum, my vote is that it's still part of the lochia, BUT you could be the rare exception who starts cycling that early.

Is he nursing around the clock and co-sleeping?

Yup, still co-sleeping and nursing round the clock. Though, he sleeps so well with us (when his nose isn't stuffy/runny like it is currently) that I don't really know how often he nurses at night. I would say it *is* safely in the *at least every six hours* zone. You're probably right, it's probably lochia.

Well... I'm definitely having a little mini-cycle now. I kept feeling as though my body was building up to *something*, weird how we can tell that, huh? I've started spotting and my bloating/swelling has gotten worse (like with AF). I remember with the other kids this happened each month after babe was born, right around the "date" they were born. Wyatt was born on the 19th of Feb, here it is the 16th of April. ::shrugs:: That's my best guess at what's going on. It doesn't feel like PP stuff. Anywho, interesting stuff... I'll bet I'll have full blown AF in another month. :: pout::

If and when I see some signs of fertility, I'll definitely be charting... but for now... I'm just going to assume that I'm infertile. With Eliya it was still a cycle or two AFTER she was finished nursing before we got pregnant with Wyatt... I know I could still get pregnant before he stop nursing, but I'm just not overly concerned about it. I'd *like* to not get pregnant at *least* until Wyatt's 18 months old or older... but we'll see what God has planned.

So you're going to start charting when AF returns?

fertile cm or af...whichever comes first?
