Depo Provera anyone???

I have taken two shots of this. I am done with them. All last month I spotted brown when I wiped and then last Friday I had a time where I wiped and got pinkish on the toliet paper and that was it. I am worried now that it may have failed. I took a HPT and got a very faint line with the 88 cent test at walmart. Going to wait till next weekend and retest and see if darker or if it was a fluke. If I am then I will be the third woman in my family that has gotten preggos while on this shot.

Either way. All my children are blessings from God and I welcome them with open arms!

Anyone else have good/bad experience with this?

I did depo provera after ds3 I did 3 shots and quit, I spotted and bled the entire time on it, got so tired and exhausted and ended up being anemic and then I quit no more and that was the last time I tried birth control lol, I was told if I was one day late on getting my shot I could get pregnant but I have heard of women getting pregnant on the shot,

I haven't heard of women getting pg while on the shot but I have gotten pg 2x while using other BC so it doesn't surprise me too much The one person I know who did try the shot said that it threw her hormones so out of wack that emotionally &physically it made her feel like she was having a nervous breakdown. She was only got like 2 or 3 shots but it took her a long time after she stopped to feel normal again. This was back when it first came out, maybe 10 yrs ago? That was enough to scare me away from it.

It gave me anxiety too, I never have anxiety and also severe headaches, I was nursing ds3 at the time (at end of 2007 and beg 200 but thankfully it didn't take but a couple of months to get my body back to normal, I have 2 other friends that tried it and they had the same reaction, bled or spot all the time, anxiety issues and severe headaches, but I did have one friend that LOVED it, she did it for a long time, she never spot or bled, actually never had a period the entire time she was on it and had no side effects, she was actually the one that talked me into lol

So next weekend you will test again? Well praying for you that everything works out, if you are then your family will be happy and rejoice the wonderful blessing God has given you

think lines I seen were evap but still having preggo symptoms at times. The NP said that is normal. I also can still express milk as I was stopping BFed when I went on the shot. Yea, my aunt and her daughter both went to get their next shot when due and found out they were preggos. My cousin has her baby tomorrow!!!

They should have never put me on it as I have a history of depression. So it has really made my depression/anxiety worse starting to feeling "normal" now that I am off of it.
