Well, stripping the membranes hasn't done TOO much yet but I didn't really expect it to, since I wasn't actually dilated yet. I've been just a lot more achy and it feels like the baby's gonna fall out when I'm walking around! lol

I suppose you could say I'm nesting today... I have a list a mile long of cleaning and organizing to do. Take recycling, bag up trash, pack away winter clothes (yup, still haven't done that! lol), clean out pantry & fridge, make freezer meals, finalize baby stuff, etc etc. Hopefully the energy can keep up!

MIL is here now through the weekend so huge relief! If we need to run in, the kids are looked after!!! PTL! MIL is the sweetest Grammy to the kids and she always finds stuff to clean & bake, etc which I actually don't mind because my love language is "acts of service". She's also brought some shrubs, etc to make my front yard look a little nicer. She has the green thumb I wish I had! lol

So today is just a really good day and I'm praising God for it!!

Can't wait to hear the news! It took 2-3 days after my doc "accidentally" stripped my membranes before my water broke and I went into labor...so, possibly, any moment for you! yay!!

Thanks, Gina! Gives me a little hope

Yesterday I had a LOT of contracting... really big long BH contractions where my belly just bunched right up and pointed out/up, then stayed that way for awhile. They didn't hurt a ton, just really uncomfortable. I also passed a tiny bit of pink so not sure if it was part of the mucous plug?

We were invited to hubby's uncle and aunt last night for supper. Had a great evening out with extended family... it had been a long time... differences in "religion" and all that... it was just great to reconnect on the same level again! Slept well last night, huge relief!!

Tonight is Blake's year-end program at school... I totally wasn't planning on being there but looks like I will be after all! He has some big speaking part that he's keeping a secret from me so I can't wait Only problem is, I never planned to go so I have NOTHING to wear. And that really isn't an exaggeration. All my tops are too short by now, the skirts I have aren't working too great and there's no way I'm wearing jeans to a conservative Mennonite school program. So I NEED to figure out something semi-dressy to wear... maybe I'll just have to sew something quick Or maybe I'll just have to have this baby today and then I won't have to worry about it! lol
