Default She won't leave them on

Dainyah self potty trained basically before she was two. Moriah, is 20 1/2 months and I haven't really worked on her much (She'll go if set on the potty but she's more laid back than Dainie and doesn't care if she's wet or whatever. We had a massive family upheaval a year ago, and the possibility of moving isn't too far away really so I didn't want to start training and move and cause regression). Today, she stripped her poopy diaper off and paraded around the house. So, since that was a sign for Dainie, figured may as well try, right? Well, I got out the training pants (cloth) and she won't leave those on. She just took them off and put them on her head. How did you keep training pants on your child? I dread using pants due to the massive amount of laundry (I hate the vinyl covers, makes them hot, and I can't tell for misses by looking at them as they run past, but will use them in public) and she can take her pants off anyway. Ideas? She can remove any article of clothing in under 30 seconds I have tried. I may have to break out the overalls. Any ideas?

I'm guessing I answered my own question with the overalls. Yeah, more laundry...

I didn't have this problem with the eldest...She loved having the training pants.

Oh well, this stage will pass all too quickly like the others.

Sorry I don't have much to offer....trying the overalls is probably your best bet for now. (Even if it is more laundry!) Let us know if it works!

Today has been better. She wouldn't leave a diaper on for anything this morning so I tried the training pants again and she was quite content. She stayed dry until just about noon and went potty for me several times.

I just hate dressing the kids in overalls. I think they are cute, but they clunk the the washer and dryer and they take more of my time during the day. Oh well. Guess we'll take each incident as it comes and deal with it then. Right now she is very happy wearing the training pants and a shirt. Soon it will be nap time and she'll wear a diaper then to be safe (though, when I got her from her nap yesterday, she had taken it off and was laughing in the crib...). We'll see. She's following the same stripping pattern and dry during the mornings as her older sister did when we started to train. Soon, no more diapers for us! Well, until we are so blessed with another little one...

I'm glad today is better and that she is keeping the training pants on. I hear you about the overalls. They annoy me for the same reason.
