Question Yeast infection

Ok ladies, I once again am having a nagging yeast infection, I think it's gone away then a couple days later the symptoms return. Seems like the norm for me, to go months with none then all of a sudden one that just doesn't go away! I haven't changed my diet lately or taken antibiotics or any other medications, nor can I think of anything else that would provoke it. We have started swimming more in the past few weeks but we've been doing that longer than the infection came about. And I immediately get out of my bathing suit once were done swimming.

Once I had the symptoms I tried an over the counter treatment, hoping I would nip it early, no luck. I've since tried one more treatment and again it went away for a couple days then came back.

I know some of you have mentioned using garlic and/or yogurt for these but can you share specifically how that works? How do you apply it? How often? etc. What kind of success have you had using these more natural methods?

Throw anything you've got at me! I'm desperate!

The only multi ingredient natural supplement I have had success with was to fight candida - when I was having it reoccurring as well, but I don't remember the label. :/ Just that there was a whole series of bottles for various women's issues and bought at The Healthy Cupboard. I took that, probiotics, and ate the food you mention more often. Did wonders... for the actual infection I think I've always gone the drug store creams route. It was fighting Candida in the whole body that did anything lasting..

This has worked the best for me. I was so happy when my Midwife shared this secret. Still thinking thankful thoughts of her. It works so well for me.

You need:
Tea tree oil
Vegetable capsules
Olive oil

I saw today that you can even buy tea tree oil at Wal-mart. I did buy the make your own vitamin capsules at the health food store, not sure if you can get those at a box type store. You fill the large half of the capsule almost full with olive oil then drop three drops of tea tree oil in and place the lid on. Place it as high as you can reach, I always wished for one of those applicator thingys, but never had one. Did not matter though it has always worked well anyway. You can use it for up to five nights at a time, but I have never used it more than three. I used to struggle with getting rid of a yeast infection once I got it, especially while pregnant. I could not believe it when this took away my infection the first time while pregnant and never came back. Hope you get some relief.

Thanks SOOOO much gals! I appreciate your responding!

I think I'm going to try using the yogurt, need to run out and get some. Also need to get more probiotics, I ran out awhile back and just haven't replaced them.

Plaid, that is awesome that works so well! If the yogurt doesn't do it's job I'm certainly going to try that! Might take some work tracking down the vegetable capsules around here but we shall see!

Tea tree oil has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial properties. Be carful using it full strength on th body, it burns, but with the olive oil, awesome!!
Gentian violet is great for yeast too, just turns you purple for a while!

I get yeast from condoms, only time I ever got yeast infections. My babies struggle with yeast diaper rashes and we have to try something lie the candida diet because once yeast takes ahold it doesn't like to let go!!

Praying you feel better soon!!
