I personally would stay away from any type of induction methods with a VBAC. medical induction increases the risk of uterine rupture and some people argue that even natural induction increases that risk as well. Whether that's true or not, I personally wouldn't like to chance it. So I think your plan of no more castor oil is a good one

Thanks, Eva! That's kinda what I was thinking too (after I took the castor oil) that I keep "forgetting" I'm a vbac and I should take it a little easier on the incision. My doula said too, to take it easy now and let my uterus rest from all that hard work

I'm so so SO glad I had a doula when I was going through all that last night. I could call her at 4 am and she was happy to help!

I'm sooo curious if I dilated at all or not... is it funny that I was SO PROUD of my body last night, even if it was false labour... it KNOWS what to do! I've never lived through contractions that long without pain meds and I was just so empowered by what my body instinctively knew to do!

If it helps at all, my false labor was way more intense, then real labor at the beginning! I think false labor tends to start out with a bang and the real deal not so much (at least for me). I was washing dishes and working around the house (without dh suspecting anything) when contractions were 5 minutes apart with the real deal. False labor I was on the couch in a ball at that point! The good news is all that pain probably did some good things for preparing your body for the real deal Praying you don't have to wait too much longer!!
