I'm not a genious, that that says something to me. If some children "handle" it better after 2, why? If they are completely safe, why? why? why?

We don't vax....when DD (and Lord willing, any other daughters we have) will be vaxed against the few things that could be potentially fatal to an unborn baby if contracted during pg when she/they are in their later teens. This way, their bodies will be strong enough, hopefully, to withstand the chemicals, and if any reaction happens, it will not be blamed on other events that they usually blame.
I have severe ADD/ADHD in my family, many people have it, and my Mom also has an autoimmune disease. With two potentially vacine activated diseases so very prevalent in our family, and a personal view of lack of need, we have decided against it. Of course we brought this before the Lord many times, and did a lot of reasearch about both sides of the debate. Believe it or not, I was 100% pro-vax before I got pg......

Although we have no plans to do so, if we go to another country, primarily a 3rd world country, we will get our children vaxed. But for now, we educate ourselves on signs and symptoms of all the vaxed against diseases.

Cristina I would love to see the thread you were talking about. I too am a non-vaxing mother. I never thought that I would be but I am. I could very well get on my soap box and talk about this forever....but I won't.
I normally just don't tell anyone anymore that I don't vax. Even eatting organic foods most people don't understand. So I stay clear of that too. God has just given me a peace about both. I'm not against vax'ing I just think that they should make more greener vax's. If they did, I might just do it.
My husband is an engineer and is very, very, very good with research and development. Being his brilant Einstine self even he has major issues with the structure of vax's. We have had many intelligent discussions with my dh's collage advisor/old collage professor...now friend who sees the dangers and detriment of vaccinations.
It really is not for everyone. I really think this is where all of us christian mom's need to seek the Holy Spirit and be led by Him. If you feel God call you to do it then follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. If you feel the Lord guiding you not to do it then have Faith and Follow Him in it.

I think the more people are becoming aware of how epigentics works, and how the vaccinations can turn on and turn off genes that we are preset with genetically from our heritage, the more we will see a decline in the complete use of vaccinations, or at least a change in how they work and how our bodies react with them.
Besides praying about, researching into, and having a long discussion with our pro-vax doctor who ended up telling us to not vax, we have to keep in mind the heavy loaded genetics my family and my dh's family are bringing to the table when it comes to our kiddos. We know the Lord made us all, and I'm sure because of the fall these genes now have the potential to turn on and off due to environmental factors, relationship factors, toxins/medications being introduced. The Lord is giving us wisdom into those parts of us, and how putting more toxic substances into our bodies is causing these genes to turn on or off.
I personally do not believe vaccinations GIVE someone Autism, but I am pretty certain that having those genes in someones epigenetics can cause them to turn on with the introduction of these chemicals/toxins. The timing usually seems about right. Not to say that being in a city with too much pollution, or taking too much advil as a baby or other introductions of foreign substances into that same body could cause the genes to be turned on too, but we are seeing a correlation with the vaccinations and these diseases turning on.
Just some food for thought! OPB had a great series on about epigenetics and what they are learning. It was a while ago, but I'm sure you can find more detailed info now out there with some research!

blessings,
Amber

I know they do Heb B (which is passed by sex or IV drugs so we pass on that one. It wears off after so many years, and unless your kid is in a home where needles are laying around for them to get pricked or high risk for sex abuse then there is no real risk, they just cover everyone, just in case.) They do Vit K which we don't do because God made our bodies to start making Vit K at 8 days (which is why God had the boys circumcised at 8 days old, not the day they are born) and we truly believe He made our bodies that way for a reason, so we don't mess with it. I think Noah did get his Vit K but he was being pricked and tubed and having lots of stuff done to him which could increase his bleeding, but I wasn't there if they gave it to him. Because of the risk to him not having it at birth was higher for bleeding was the reason we had him have it, but our kids who are healthy don't get it. You can up your levels of Vit K with alfalfa during pregnancy. I have always done that, and need to start taking it again about now.
I know they also put erythromycin ointment in their eyes just in case you have an STD, but I know I don't have one, and my husband and I are monogamous so we don't do that either. We don't like to give our kids antibiotics whether topical or internal for a "maybe" situation. If I had risky behavior or had a possible STD I would, but I don't, so we don't. It's not a vaccination but it's something they do "just in case" that's not warranted to me.
I don't know if they give any other vaccines, those are the ones I know of. We opt out of everything when our kids are born. We had to voice ourselves very loudly here in South Carolina, because even with our sheet listing what we don't want done with our kids they were still ready to give them the stuff. In Oregon it wasn't as bad because I think more people are leaning towards waiting or opting out, but here it's not as normal.
You can go to the American Academy of Pediatrics website (I believe that is their name) and I'm sure the listing of vaccines are there. I know WIC would have that info too.

Too bad you don't live closer to Portland, my dear friend who was also our midwife with Emma is a walking book of knowledge and I know she would love to sit down with you and answer your questions. If you end up close to Salem anytime soon, I can hook you up with her. She is pretty passionate about somethings, but she NEVER tries to make someone make their decisions based on her beliefs. She thinks it's super important to have someone get all the facts and make their own choice, especially with mindful prayers.

Blessings,
Amber
