Default Keeping pajamas ON

I checked on 4 1/2 yr. old ds last night because he was making some noise and he was still awake and needed a tissue. OK, I get him the tissue and trip over a wet pull up on the floor - he'd taken his pull up and pajamas off. I had him get a dry pull up and his pajamas back on. I checked on him this morning and he did it again!!!! How do you get your child to understand that they need to keep their pajams ON? I suppose he might have been too hot but, he shouldn't have been that hot. A lightweight sleeper, sheet, 1 blanket?

Anyone else have kids who take their pajamas off during the night? Oh, last year I tried putting a diaper pin at the top so he couldn't pull the zipper down. He stretched the neck hole open enough and got out of that sleeper without unzipping it! I called him Houdini for that!
