How are all our babies doing? I've been wondering about all of them alot. I really want to hear all about each of them. What milestones are they meeting? What are they eating? Any teeth? How much hair do they have?
Fall babies--Lori, Kathaleen, Ashlee, Jen, and Hope... Winter babies--Ruth, Anna Spring babies--Kim, Margi, Kyrstalia Forgive me if I missed anyone, or jump in if you're new around here and we haven't "met" your baby yet. I'm going to go start a picture thread, too. I just love seeing pictures of everyone's cuties. Can't wait to hear from each of you!

So I'll start...if I can figure out where to start! Meg has just been growing and changing like crazy. She started crawling at 6 1/2 months, and everything has just been bam-bam-bam since then.
She turned 8 months old yesterday, and she's crawling, pulling up, climbing stairs, balancing standing up by herself. She thinks she can walk and will take off, falling flat on her face. She climbs out of the bathtub if I turn my back on her. She's saying Mama, Dada, Hey!, and waves bye-bye. She's just one busy, busy girlie. And everyone adores her. She's such a sweet, sunny, little girl...unless she's not. Nightimes have been rough lately and Mommy's exhausted, but maybe she'll actually pop some teeth through this time. Her gums are visibly swollen and frozen peas are her favorite new food. Noah loves her to death and she him, but they're definitely going to be a dynamic duo...either at each other's throats or inseparable sidekicks. They keep me running constantly and praying for wisdom incessantly.

Oooh! I am so glad you started this thread, Lynn! I
hearing about all our lil ones!Sooo, Matthew is 8.5 months now and growing like a weed!! He is 19lbs 14oz as of today and 28.5"long! He has been doing great although this week has been RoUgH!! He has cut 4 top teeth (that makes a grand total of 6 teeth), gotten stung by a yellow jacket, had 2 dr appt.s and now has pink eye! All in 1 week! Oy! But setting this week aside he is a very happy little boy who loves to crawl everywhere, pull up on everything and will swim until exhaustion (not really swimming but I mean playing in the water with us holding him in the lake or him splashing in his pool). He LOVES to eat! One of his favorites is bread in any form, shape, or color. He eats table food of almost any sort now and he is still going strong with nursing also! Praise the Lord! That just thrills my heart to look back over all the obstacles and see him now still nursing it!! Hmm what else... oh, he will say Dada, Bubbie (thats what we call oldest ds) and he JUST has said Mama (lil' stinkerI guess that about covers it for now! Can't wait to read all the others' stories!

Fun thread
All these babies! ![]() Our little guy is wonderful <of course Dh says he is our bouncy*est* baby yet! Ha ha have to agree. He jumps his way out of my sling all the time and jumps up and down while sitting on our laps continually. Often we sleep with two in our bed and it is so sweet seeing our two year old and baby side by side sleeping or just waking up and smiling at each other. Silas is almost 11 months. He likes to call the kids when I do. If I call someone's name loudly he makes an ahh sound loudly and waits. Glad to her all these babies are doing well!

Oh, I'm so glad to hear about the other babies! It's precious hearing the love just pour out of each one of you, and realizing that each baby brings so much joy into our lives.
And guess what? She's scared of the dark! We've been having absolute fits getting through the nights with her recently...she's been restless, fussy, waking VERY frequently, often sleeping only in our arms...the works. It's been killing me, especially since we've just hit a really busy few weeks here. I've been dragging through the days, dead on my feet. So anyway, we finally set up the pack-n-play in a different room one night to put her down and just let her cry it out. My husband put a candle nightlight in the room with her since it was unfamiliar--and she put herself to sleep without screaming hardly at all, and slept until 3:30 the next morning (a miracle, compared to other nights lately!). Scared of the dark. Poor baby. I feel terrible. We used to have a nightlight in the kids' room, but Noah had dismantled it and I hadn't found all the pieces, so lately, no nightlight. Trust me, I didn't lose any time getting not one, but TWO nightlights back in the kids' room. Hopefully we'll all catch up on some rest now!

Elise is almost 6 weeks old! I can hardly believe and I just want to weap cuz they grow up so fast... but we've been just seriously taking it easy and enjoying each moment!
I haven't had her weighed for awhile (since 2 weeks) but I'm pretty sure she's around 13 lbs already... I love my chubby babies!! She's EBF and fed on demand so often I'm feeding every 1.5 hours especially in the evening when she's tanking up. At night she usually goes 3 hours and on the rare night has done 5-6 hours and even 9 one night! She's really starting to look around and smile and coo... such a cute time! Of course she usually only smiles for daddy which I actually think is pretty awesome because I was never close to my dad and I secretly love that she's a daddy's girl. Even if I protest her smiling habits! lol There isn't a huge difference at this age between the genders but it sure is fun to dress her!!

Hi Moms!
Im new here and love hearing about the babies and their milestones and personalities. I had my first, Sophia Grace 3 1/2 months ago (May 24). She spent the first 12 days in the NICU due to breathing issues. Thanks to an incredible medical staff and answered prayers, she is a healthy, happy girl that now weighs 12lbs 6oz. She is smiling, cooing, laughing and babbling up a storm. She was BF around the clock (sometimes hungry within 45 mins) but now waits 4 hours and only nurses once during the night. We ended up cosleeping which I never imagined I would. Its funny how much you "know" until you have a baby! It makes BF at night and sleeping general so much easier. To be honest, it will be hard to give up. Im anxious for the next steps to come (sitting up, etc...) but trying to remain in the moment and realize how fast this is going. |
