Default will you all be my honorary/prayer doulas?

I don't know if this is terribly selfish (duh. yes it is!) but I just want this baby out NOW. I'm feeling a bit like Job today and not handling things well and I just decided maybe it's time to pray that the baby comes. I'm battling cough/sore throat/ear infection and oh yeah heartburn/sciatica at a new level today.

I'm due in 25 days but if I go by my dates, then go into labour as early as last time? I *could* have this little girl in NINE DAYS.

Is it too much to ask you dear fellow mommies & Christians to pray along with me these last few days/weeks... I want God's timing but I so badly want to feel normal again. Just. So. Done. I'm so apprehensive about birth too, and I just want to have it *here* so I don't have to worry about it anymore! :b

Thanks. I love you all, you've been a HUGE support through this pregnancy!!!

HUGE hugs to you girl!! I was *so* done this last pregnancy by the time I hit 37 weeks. It was AWFUL! Thankfully the feelings passed by about 39ish weeks and I decided I was in for the long haul. I really don't know what changed my feelings but I remember all too well how rough it was in the meantime! I'm praying for you!! Hang in there and I promise they ARE worth it!! I told dh all through labor that we should've only had 1... but the minute she was born, I knew it was worth every ache and pain!

Thanks, gals! I decided to start praying today that this baby would come soon. Within a couple of hours I was decidedly crampy, enough that I was definitely uncomfortable but it wasn't anything I could really time. It eventually passed but I got pretty excited there for a bit! lol

I would be honored to pray for the Lord's will in this birth! I have had 37 weekers, and I would do anything I could to avoid that again. There were just too many small issues that a full term baby didn't have to overcome. KWIM? But, I know that the Lord grows each baby at different rates, and I pray that your baby comes when it's His timing, and that sweet baby is ready!
I pray for peace, comfort, and patience for you during this time. I always found that my REALLY ready days when preggo would come and go, and if I sought God's will and His comfort that I would feel so much better and have way more peace! I know it's hard these last few weeks, but remember that He knows your baby's birthday and that day if perfect for His will and His glory!!

Love you gal and hope time goes quickly for you!
Blessings,
Amber

Thank you Amber... I definitely need a good dose of "leaning" on Him!

Hugs Margi!!

Totally agree that feeling this way is normal. Difficult and frustrating and tiring. But understandable and normal. I am certainly praying that your sweet baby will come sooner than later. But not until she is fully baked and ready. Praying for rest, patience, health, and peace upon you now and in the days coming.
