Short cycle?

So, I'm about 10dpo (if I O'd when I normally do) and last night and this morning I've had some spotting. It was pretty dark last night, but it's lighter this morning and slightly heavier. I'm not really cramping, but of course now I'm feeling every little twinge. Lol

My cycles are usually 33+ days but today is day 28. Could I moving towards shorter cycles??

Or could this be implantation bleeding? I didn't think it would be this heavy, if it is!

Implantation bleeding in text book rules(that I read several yrs ago) should only be red light spotting as in only when you wipe never on panties or pads and last one day maybe 2 BUT I had it with ds3 and know several ladies that had it too and it was light spotting that required a pad, mine lasted 3 days started out just when I wiped and next day I needed a pad but still red spotting and then 3rd day it was back just when I wiped, I told my ob about it and he said implantation bleeding and the other ladies I knew that happened to them were told the same thing by their ob/midwife, still praying for you

Still spotting... But it's going back towards a darker, brownish red. I don't know WHAT to think. I usually get a couple of days of spotting before AF, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see over the next couple of days. I mean, my boobs are sore and I've been super emo, but as I know very well now, those mean nothing in the grand scheme of things! Lol

Praying for peace either way. Funny thing is? I've really already got it! PTL

If it is implant spotting it seems a bit late if you are 10dpo, but you could have always o'd later. There is no "normal" when it comes to our cycles and def. with TTC!
If you are moving to a 28 day cycle, that could mean you O earlier, maybe better, or your LP is shorter....do you temp, I forget? That could show if your LP is shorter, and if your temp dropped it's probably AF, but if it's still up, game can still be on!! Dark and brown blood is usually old blood but if you implanted a few days ago it could be coming out now.....only the Lord knows! (wish He gave us a button on our belly that pops out the second we conceive!)

I hope it's implant spotting, but I praise the Lord you have peace either way!!

You can implant 6 to 12dpo so really implantation spotting can happen the day you expect your period, spotting before af is a sure sign of low progesterone, which isn't good once you do conceive(and can make it hard to conceive) so I would have that checked out or run that by your gyn Still praying this unusually spotting is good news
