First postpartum ovulation confirmed!!

After my failed ovulation attempt my body immediately began trying again!

I had a profuse heavy patch of more fertile mucus (13 days of it to be exact!) and open soft cervix.

Following that I had a drastic, obvious dry up of the mucus, obvious cervical changes and a now an obvious confirmed thermal shift.

To me this just reinforces the fact that if you're TTA with NFP or FAM, it's SO important to chart carefully! I'm so happy that I have a full chart with no missing data so that I can confidently apply the phase III infertility rule.

According to my usual luteal phase length, I estimate that I will be due for AF on April 23. This is going to be so different to go back to AF-land! LOL.

Wow!! Yeah it will be different for you, eh? How exciting... I mean, I never thought AF would be exciting, but watching you go through this phase has been really neat. Is that weird? ::snort:: I think charting is so awesome! I love that God gave us this natural means to watch our bodies go through this every month!

I think that it will be great! My husband and I really want to seriously TTA for awhile because our hands are full and it will be easier to successfully TTA with a predictable monthly cycle, so I'm beyond stoked that AF will be back soon. I mean, I've learned the theory of charting, but being that we didn't have serious reason to avoid and had pretty much continuous lactational amenorrhea and pregnancy, I didn't chart a lot of actual cycles.

It'll be fun to get to use my mama cloth again too, lol!
