    Default Scratching Herself?

    Hi,
Does anyone else have a child that scratched themselves other than just being itchy? dd is 1.5 years old and she tends to scratch her back a lot, enough to leave scratch marks. I've checked for a rash and to see if her clothes might be causing her to do this but to no avail. Is this normal?
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Matthew 6:25 NIV

Wool always makes me itch but never leaves a rash. Does she wear wool?

Also anything polyester or acrylic might be making her sweat and itch... since it doesn't "breathe" like cotton. I mean acrylic is basically plastic anyway.

SO we're big believers in cotton over here LOL

Or maybe she just occasionally gets an itch she's got to get rid of?

Sometimes allergies (and I am NOT saying it is definately an allergy) don't leave marks.

Washing powder can irritate and so can soap without evidence (I have a problem with this) - if it was an allergy, it does kinda sound like a "contact" type allergy - perhaps try switching laundry powder, soap etc???
