    Default shampoo

Okay guys I'm getting desperate. Does anyone know a good natural shampoo (That actually gets your hair clean and leaves no residue), without sodium luthal sulfate in it or proplyene glycol or anything else harmful in it. I've been using baking soda and apple cider vinegar, and I've tried Jason natural shampoo but none of it gets my hair super clean and it leaves a residue.. so please help!!

I used to use Creme of Nature or Isoplus Conditioning Shampoo (both were found in ethnic section at Wal-Mart and both were pretty inexpensive). I've heard they no longer make the CON except in organic with some sulfates. I couldn't take the smell of it anyway; hung around all day. The Isoplus is better, but not as cheap as it used to be.

Chrissy, you might try an apple cider vinegar/water rinse to get out the residue and restore the Ph to your hair.

I already use apple cider vinegar rinse.. and it doesn't get it all out. It's just like the baking soda stays on my scalp and I scrub and scrub it trying to get it all out and I can never get it all. I've never heard of isoplus though.. I'll look for it.

I've had good luck with any number of "shampoo bars" but I'm not sure if the store bought ones had any added junk. Farmer's Market soap lady had a good selection.

I use "just carrots" shampoo and conditioner. I like and and have never felt it had residue. I get it at Target in the fancy shampoo section. They also have "just tomatoes" but it's a dollar more.

I found a bar shampoo on ebay that was really reasonable, so I'm going to try it. And I'd be interested in just carrots.. but I never shop at target. So if they don't sell it elsewhere I'll probably never get the chance to try it. Oh well I hope this works well.

    Thanks!!
