My dd is 1.5 years old and all of a sudden seems to be waking up through the night for no other reason than when we go into her room to see what is the matter she is standing up and won't seem to lay back down again on her own. Last night it happened twice and the first time we waited to see how long she would cry and she just kept getting worse and worse so we finally went in after a half hour of crying. She just wanted mommy and I put her back to bed, and then she did it again a short while later. dh went in and all she wanted was to be laid back down again. I can't figure the logic of this out?! She has been sleeping through the night for quite some time but now has seem to started this every so often. Tips?

Our kids went through this stage too. They do outgrow it. :lol: It worked best to just go in and lay them down and tuck them in again. With ds I think he wasn't tired enough, so he would wake up halfway through the night.

It could be her molars coming in? My ds (13 months) wakes up sometimes in the middle of the night and I figure it is because he is either a. wet b. hurting c. lost his pacy.

I thought molars too!

My dd used to do this periodically. Not sure why. She sleeps fine through the night now except for the periods she seems to be in our bed every night for: "having a bad dream". :lol: I'm sure everything will be ok.
