Sooo... now I'm wondering *when* exactly I ovulated... today or yesterday or the day before? My drop was yesterday, and my rise was today, and now my EWCM is gone... hhmm... This sure is interesting! I read on a Fertility help website that it *is* possible to get a BFP at 8DPO, if you use a sensitive test (such as the dollar tree New Choice)... soooo... we'll see!!! ::snort:: I'm a POAS addict anyway! ;)

I would say you ovulated when you had the temp rise. According to TCOYF once you ovulate you start producing hormones that will sustain a pregnancy. Those hormones cause your temp to rise and stay risen either until you get your period or they will stay risen way past when AF is due if you are pregnant. HTH! And hope you get a BFP! This is exciting.

ETA: According to your chart I think you have a very good chance this month. Nothing is a gaurantee, but you definately have a good shot!

Eva, thanks for the info! I read in my fertility book I have that if it stays up for 18 days past the rise that you should consider yourself pregnant, and if it dips after that, you've had a miscarriage, not a late period. I thought that was interesting. And yeah, if we don't get a BFP this month, it sure was a great learning experience and it's been FUN looking at all this stuff... learning to chart... and sharing it with you gals! :)

Yeah, TCOYF also says that 18 high temps means you are pregnant. So if you are hardcore charting, then no need to take a pg test, just go by your temps. Pretty cool this cycle thing when you understand it:-D

Peeonastick.com was funny. I would never have thought to put breastmilk on a pg test. I couldn't wait 18 days; this time my first test 10 dpo was bfn but I got 2 bfps at 13 dpo and another bfp at 14 dpo (just to be sure!) I will be watching to see how this turns out!

Well, I got yet another +OPK and my temp went even higher today... my CM is still at a creamy level, not EW anymore. Cervix is still open and soft... which, I read means that I'm still considered fertile... but at the same time I read that if you don't have the right EWCF that you may not conceive. Sooooo... that's where I'm at today! ;) This is all so fascinating! :D

Okay...I have to pose an odd question here. I wonder does Michelle Duggar have a POAS addiction too??? I mean, you know they NFP...but really...does she get this excited with each one too?

Well, Katie, I keep thinking that one of these babies is going to be my total shocker and I won't have the faintest idea that we've conceived, or that I'll be so "over it" with caring about getting a BFP that, yeah, it'll be a blessing, but it'll be less of a wonder to me... know what I mean? But, it isn't so far... each child has been a complete and wonderful *miracle* to me!! From day one of conception... so it is probably the same for her~ But emailing her to ask would be interesting! Ha!
