not sure what to think about this... if it's something I need to see my doctor about or maybe a sign of pregnancy or maybe just pms stuff.... but my boobs are aching and have shooting pains. Actually I wouldn't say shooting pains but more like shooting achy-ness. They're a bit tender but it's honestly just this weird pain.
Should I see a doctor? Or wait until next week when I can take a test... or until AF comes?

Laura, both boobs? Sounds like hormones to me (not cancer :-D). [hug] I'd just give it a little time. If you're still having moderate to severe breast pain in a few months (and you're not pregnant), then maybe make an appointment if you feel led. They'll check your hormone levels for you, but there won't be much they can do for you if you're wanting to get pregnant. Their first suggestion would likely be BC pills. [whatblah] There are natural hormones, but... if you're trying to get pregnant, these symptoms will likely take care of themselves when you have a baby in you. :mrgreen:

My boobs hurt like crazy when I first got pregnant! pains all the time. Occasionally I get shooting pains around that time of the month which I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact I am still breastfeeding or not. It goes away though. So... I agree with Joy it is probably hormones. :-)

Yeah, I agree with Joy. I always have achy boobs the week before my period, sometimes much worse then others. I've thought I was preggo several times because of them. I'd say it's just hormones more then likely. I feel your pain though.. literally lol.

With both of my pregnancies this was one of my first "signs". I get it now from time to time with my period...and currently, yep...a tad on the achy side today. LOL!

Two of the three times I have had weird/different shooting pains. I was pregnant. Mine almost felt like when your milk comes in but maybe a bit stronger. Hope it is a good sign for you! :-D

I'm with others that THAT was one of my very first signs that I was PG!!! ;) I found it hurt when hub hugged me or the kids threw themselves against me for a hug or cuddle. :ouch: Hope you get a BFP, gal!!

Laura if I remember correctly did you buy a pregnancy test and do the test before church one Sunday to see if you were pregnant with your dd? I think it was you but I wasn't sure b/c I was pregnant with my youngest ds and I remember you posting in the pregnancy forum around the same time. Anyway if it was you, I always giggle about that :)

No! That wasn't me!! But I do remember someone telling us they did that.... now who was it?! hmmmm.

I agree achy boobs = hormones, mine ache all the time when I am due on and they even seem to get bigger lol. I hope that this is a good sign for you though and that you get your BFP.
