:-D Yesterday was the second (best) weirdest day ever...the first being when we brought our firstborn home from the hospital making us a happy threesome. (The other when we brought our secondborn home, making us a happy foursome!) Yesterday, my husband and I felt like it was "The Twilight Zone" as we watched our CHILDREN drive away in the car (without grown-ups) for their school day while we parents stayed at home. (We work from home.) We have just one car right now (other's in the shop), and it was our son's turn with it. Yes, he just got his driver's license this very week (and is truly a great driver). Anyway, totally and awesomely weird!! [clapping]

Wow! Not really sure if I should say congrats or bless your heart-they're driving!:-D I'm so not there but I remember being that 16-year-old and leaving my parents driveway for the first time. It is an accomplishment!:-D

Bravo!!! I have one son currently studying his driving manual. I think he is finally getting excited about it.

I see from your avatar your son is about a month older than mine, as well as your daughter being about my second son's age too, neat!

Good job mama for training up such a great driver.

Thanks, Renee and Teelee!! :-D

Oh, my goodness, the days from six-pound newborn to 170-pound new driver just flew by like I don't know what!! God is so awesome!! I LOVE watching my kiddoes turn into grown-ups...though it is bittersweet. My mom hates that her firstborn (me) has crinkly eyes (wrinkles) and patches of white (not just gray) hair. Ha! [rotfl]

[welcomehandshake] Renee, blessings on your son's driving studies. He'll do just great!! It's so cool our kiddoes are so close in age, too.

[highfive] Teelee, you won't believe how in the blink of an eye you'll have new drivers in your home, too.

Thanks!!

I hear you completely! Congratulations not only to your son, but to both you and your hub for your great attitudes! :-D
