Eye Gunk

Landry's little eyes have been crusted shut for two mornings now. It doesn't seem to bother her but with Grandma and Great-Granmda coming for Easter, we're going to the Dr. thisafternoon. Please tell me she's not going to go blind or something!

Ian's do that. The Dr. said it was allergies. My husband has them so I guess they got passed down. I was terrified that he had "Pink-Eye", but no infection, just allergies. Don't worry, things will be fine.

Isaac's did that when he had a sinus infection. It backed up and made his eyes *****! Poor little guy! :(

I got some drops for my little one from his doctor when that happened- it cleared it up in 4 days.

Definitely call if the crusty stuff is greenish!

Okay so she had an ear infection. Get this, the Dr said that her ears were blocked so the ear drainage from the infection was being forced out her eyes. :( I'll have to say this is the first time I've felt like a bad mom. :roll: I mean, how long must she have had this to have the stuff puched out of her eyes ya know. :cry:


Oh well, God is good! Thanks to Him for creating gunk for mommies like me!

Yup, that's what happened to Isaac, except his was a sinus infection. I'm glad you were able to find out what was causing it and can get it fixed!

Taralee don't think of yourself as a bad momma because of this. It's hard to figure out what is wrong with babies because they can't tell us what hurts. I have been there and done that too but trust me you are a great momma and he will be fine. Stephanie
