Yay! :D My little girl just printed her name perfectly.. well close to! She has been printing letters and almost printing her name for a couple weeks now but she just now printed her first name with no mistakes! She turned 3 in August so I'm really happy that she's catching on to everything so fast. [cheer]

Hooray, Ashlee!! Good for your little girl, and for mommy for being so on top of things. Sounds like you have a smart little cookie there. Give her a hug and a high-five for us. [hug] [highfive]

Brooke.. and thanks everyone! I was telling my little sister (21) that Brooke can write her name now and she said wow she's pretty smart she must have got that from her daddy!  Ha ha!

Wow! Great! So maybe Blake is a possible name to write at age 3 also?! He knows B + L + A, but I don't think he can draw the last 2. I'll keep trying.

Yep.. the K is what she was having trouble with.. she has been doing B R O O for a while but K was harder for her to grasp, not sure why? One thing that I think helped with her feeling confident enough to try on her own is letting her trace her name in dots. Like I would just make up the letters in broken lines or dots so she could see the shape of the letter and trace it.

That's what I've been doing... just drawing really pale with a pencil & he just draws over it with a marker. He loves sending faxes to his Grandmas like that, with their names & his. [thumbsup]

Aslee, Wow & Congrats! That is a big accomplishment :D
Mommy Daisy - we used to call my sister Becca Boo when she was little - I love that you have that in your age ticker for your dd.
