Sorry that I have been rather absent lately from discussions (actually I have been checking in most days - but haven't had time to post any replies). I now have only a few days left until my due date. As my first arrived 4 days before his due date I find that I am getting really impatient and expecting it to happen each day. I am finding that I am getting more anxious about the babies wellbeing as the date gets closer (which seems silly now that I am so far along - it must be the hormones causing chaos as usual). I get panic attacks about what I could be doing that could possibly harm the baby - prayer for this would be appreciated. Actually, I had a problem with this during the last pregnancy but it started a lot earlier on - so now I am pretty eager to have baby within the next few days (as last time the anxiety issues disappeared after the birth). We have just had a long holiday weekend here and I had been hoping that it would happen then - it would have been so convenient for all involved. Physically I am feeling really good (but very tired) - started getting more frequent BH contractions yesterday, so hopefully things will start happening soon.

I'll pray that God gives you His peace.

I'm pretty eager to have my baby within the next few days, too, but, as you can tell by my ticker, I have a bit more to go, and my mw says that Baby has some more growing to do.

I pray the Lord calms your heart and takes away your anxiety. He can do it, I am proof!! :-D As the Lord brings it to mind, I will pray for you! I also pray that you have an awesome labor and birth!! Bring that baby on!!! :-D

One more thing......GO ALL BLACKS!! Ok, so my DH is probably the biggest, and one of the only All Blacks fan in the U.S. He would probably move to NZ just to be closer to them, and be able to watch them on TV. If this new baby is a boy, he will be decked out in NZ AB gear from head to toe!!

i can relate to the anxiety and panic attacks.. have had a few with this one recently, just as i did with our first, and i agree... you can probably pin it on the hormones! lovely things they are :) anyway, best wishes for a healthy baby and a smooth delivery. i am scheduled to deliver ours c-section on the 31st, so we're not far apart!

Well, yesterday was my due date and baby is showing no sign of wanting to move out of it's comfortable home (boo hoo  ). Now my midwife has her weekend off - so I have been a bit torn between wanting baby to come now and wanting baby to wait until my midwife is back on duty. However, I really just want baby to come now - I am sure my back-up midwife would be fine even though I don't really know her.

Amber, I'm not a huge sports fan, but my son has had a few All Blacks accessories - the AB baby gear is so cute and trendy. I thought you might like to see a couple of photos of him wearing his AB gear (the second photo is only a few days after he was born).

NZMummy! Your due date was Sunday right? Well maybe you are in labour now or have just had baby. I hope so!

My due date was officially Friday - and I am still waiting  . This baby is definately much too comfortable staying right where he/she is (I am beginning to think that I need to compose an eviction notice like you did Renee  ). I was feeling quite ill and sore last night - so I was hoping that things were going to happen then, but this morning I feel better again and baby is staying put for the moment. For months hubby has been telling me that November 2 is the day (his sister's birthday) - it is looking more like he might be right. My midwife wants to do a 'Stretch and Sweep' tomorrow morning - I was hoping to avoid it, but am probably going to agree to this if labour doesn't start today.

LOL The eviction notice didn't work for me! But I hope you've had baby by now. Hang on... I think you have. UGH I'm so stupid LOL I think I just replied to a post of yours earlier today about breastmilk. Stupid Renee. LOL
