Mama Bronc - I am a mama of 2 great kids, hence the mama part. My husband is doing a frame off restoration on a 1969 Ford Bronco. It is consuming, and since much of my time, energy, money goes into it, it is becoming part of my life too.

The bulldog that I chose for my avatar is mostly because I think they are so cute. My sister has an English Bulldog named Brodie. I love him and he has SOOO much personality. I will never own one as long as I have kids, Brodie is not good with kids. I just think they are fun dogs and you can't help but smile when you look at them.

I had just finished reading "Grace for the Race" by Dena Dyer and in it she talks about friends being like tea - in the book chamomile friends are soft- spoken, laid-back, have a dry wit and listen when you need an ear - most of my friends would describe me this way, so I picked it for my user name.

The flower avatar seemed to go with the whole soothing chamomile thing and i love lush greenery as we don't have enough of it in the city.

I have used the same username for everything so when I joined here I wanted something different. Since this is a site just for mommies, I decided that mamatotwo is fitting since I have two kids. 777 is just something I usually tag onto my usernames to be unique. 7 is God perfect number and my favorite number -- writing it three times is just random although it seems many things happen in three's. My avatar is a picture of my two children. :D

When I first joined the site, I was in my 4th month of pregnancy with Hannah, hence my original username was "ExpectantMommy." However, after I gave birth, I decided that that wasn't fitting anymore, since I wasn't pregnant, so I changed it to "BlessedMommy" which is similar. I am truly blessed with a beautiful baby girl! (At least in my biased opinion :))

Well, I couldn't find one of those ichtus fish avatars and I love sparkly pink stuff so that explains the cross. Kassismom is because I am Kassi's mom. 8) :lol: I go by another username elsewhere and that is prodigaldaughter. The story in Luke about the prodigal son is much like my own. I wallowed in the muck and mire with the pigs and ran away from my Father (heavenly father that is) for a few years. Now if I could just be a servant, just get in those pearly gates by the skin of my teeth so to speak..... But that's not what happened. When I "came home", I was given the royal treatment. You know what? God used a blessing to bring me back to him when I deserved judgment and a lot worse. He gave me Kassi. I'll never understand his grace and mercy for such a rotten sinner as me. The Lord has restored all the locust years (the things the world ate up and destroyed, the things I destroyed by my own choices, etc.. ) to me and given me what I was searching for and what was right in front of me the entire time. Love. Family. Devotion. Truth. All those things......I just can't believe it still. I was blind, couldn't see that Christ was the only one who could truly make me whole. But when my eyes were finally opened......I ended up with a wonderful husband, a precious daughter, a restored relationship with my parents, and the list goes on. There I go rambling again. Sorry

So, that's where prodigaldaughter comes from.

Well, the easy answer is the avitar...that's my heart...Adam who will be 2 on Dec 3rd.

The WIKokopelli is a screen name I've had for YEARS!!!! Before meeting DH and moving to NM, I was born and lived in WI (thus the WI part)...I was really into the native american stuff back then and kokopelli is thought to be a na holy man (or god) of fertility in all endeavors... I don't follow any of that anymore, but the name has been mine all over the web for years and I guess it's just me now...

Yeah! I was not to creative. When I registered it asked for nick name. I really don't have a nick name but I have a great aunt who calls me Nati.
My name is Marilyn Natalia...eveyone calls me Natalie. Itried to think of something else but after an hour of staring at the profile screen to change it, I gave up.
I picked this avatar for a few reasons. Growing up we went to a Messianic Congregation and for that reason I know some hebrew words. [flagisrael] I love the word Abba-Father, one of my favorite songs is called Abba Father. And it really explains my life growing up and to this day. Raised by a single mother. I felt God's precense as my father who helped my mom raise and take care of us.

My name came about from discovering Winnie the Pooh. I had just happened to watch the original movie, and as I was blankly staring at my c-moms sign up page, Kanga popped into my head...only I didn't quite get her name right. Roo is her baby's name. Oh well, it sort of flowed together. I also carried my dd around in her sling for so long that I thought of her as my little Roo. So Mamaroo I am now!

The avatar I chose after realizing in april I still had the nativity scene might need to be updated with the seaon. I like my avatar because its calming and gentle. It brings me a split second of peace in my crazy life!

justmeNmine is something I used on another parenting board where it seemed everybody's screename described their family. In my case, my family consists of just me and my two kids- me and mine. As for an avatar, everytime I try to add one it tells me it's too large, so I don't have one yet.

I'm loving getting to know you all...you are all soo delightful & edifying!! I was wondering about the crunchychristian, too so I was glad I found this site...it explains a lot!! :D And Natalie, I LOVE studying the Hebrew/Greek...I'm one of those that studies the Bible w/ several different translations & has the concordance there so I can discover some of the original meanings...i think that's kool!! 8) I chose my name because I always use it & keeps things simple accross the board. I am a Reliv Dist. so I feel like I'm 'relivin' which is kind of "Two-Fold". I not only feel like I'm relivin w/ my health but also as a God-Fearing Born-Again Believer!! My name comes from a handle that I've used for years. My middle name is Angelina. I went to register on a website a long time ago using Angelina. It was taken, so I somehow came to a shortened version - Aalena. Can't remember how I came to that. But it's what I use all over the place now.

My screen name says it all; I am truly One blessed for Life - as a child of God. And He has blessed my life abundantly with my wonderful hubby & beautiful children.
I picked the avatar with a white rose because white = purity; we are in Christ when we accept His death on the cross for our sins.
And a rose can not be opened by human hands to grow into the beauty it was created to be.

As for my name, I left a business that I was doing then joined a group that I needed a name so I picked a name that was sort of long and one of my the ladies asked me if everyone could just shorten it, so I said yes. But, we didn't like it as PBG. So a friend shorted it to PB&J! It remimed us all of the sandwitch, since we make them for our kids!

As far as the avatar I really liked this one because friends are a GOD-SEND to me and I alway cherish my friendships!

come from my past & my present. My name is an old nickname I had when I was young & hip & in a band. I have always used it for a signin name for most things because I just like it. After 18 years, my FIL still calles me Jyp!! My avatar explains where I am in my walk with Jesus. I try to ask myself this question in almost every situation I find myself in. Jesus has touched my life in so many ways and I feel it is my responsibility to pass His love to others in any way I can!

This thread is older than most, and my reply may not even be seen, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in.
From day one of my relationship with DH, I have referred to him as "Superman" cause I never thought another man would be able to turn my head and he must have super powers to do that! So, now, almost everything is either SupermansLady or Fortnerpride. So proud to have his last name :P
The avatar, well Ms. Piggy has always been one of my favorites. Brings back warm childhood memories.
