Well, my fitted diaper turned out beautifully...all except one thing, it's about the size of a preemie diaper! It might have fit Hannah when she was 9 pounds, but it sure won't fit her now! I was all getting excited about sewing it, considering the fact that I'm not really a seamstress, and then BOOM, I realized the fact that I sewed it too small. Oh, well, time to try again!

It was so disappointing. I mean, I even figured out how to sew on the elastic and everything. Once I saw that it wasn't going to fit her, I didn't even bother sewing on the velcro closures.
At least you can sew.
Well, not that I can't, but suffice it to say that when I was a kid and my mom would buy me a sewing kit (like latchhook, cross-stitching, etc.), I would do about a third of it and then she'd have to finish. I just don't like sitting still for very long.
Okay, okay, so I cut up a sheet and made a wrap out of it this week. But it was something I could do without a sewing machine. Still, I couldn't wait to finish the thing so I could get up and do something that required a little more movement.
Anyway, I'm sure your next efforts will turn out much better. :)
