Oh my golly gosh look what Sinead has just read.

As you know Sinead is 5 and has just started full time school. Since her reading is improving I thought I would try her on a hard book. She read the first page confidently and with only 4 errors, we are reading a page a day type thing.

I know I am in shock myself, there was only a very small number of words she did not know. I have been into town today and got her some more older books to challenge a bit.

I was impressed though I got a book way cheaper in the charity shop than what it would have been on Amazon. It was spooky finding it though as I was upset that I could not afford it last night then I found it cheaper. :-)

I will do, she is such a talented young girl and she is growing daily. I have to take some fall picture so I will make sure I share.

She is now at the stage where she goes to bed and if she can not sleep she reads to herself.

That is really Wonderful that Sinead is reading so well.
A real blessing it will be to both of you. Now you can have lots of fun reading together.
I went to the Christian book shop a week ago and found some more bible story books for my new little book worms, they love them and only $3.00 each. My Noah has read the one about Phillip and the Ethiopian over and over says it his favourite bible story and has been really touched by it .

I will look into getting her some more christian books she does have some but not many.

She was such a good girl in the Dr's today she sat and read while I was waiting for my appointment it was nice to hear her read. I am trying to encourage her as much as I can but I am worried that I am missing out on things with her as I seem to be mainly concentarting on the reading.
